Third Time's the Charm Biscuits

Third Time's the Charm is the story of law enforcement agent, Jon Cavanagh and his estranged wife, Melissa Cavanagh, who have their own second chance at love in this sequel to Second Chances .

Here is Melissa's recipe (and mine) for homemade biscuits.

Third Time's the Charm Biscuits 

1 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour

1 Tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

Whisk together dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Add 4 Tbsp cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces

Mix with pastry cutter.

Stir in 3/4 cup of cold whole milk.

Spread dough onto flour dusted parchment paper.

Roll dough to 1 inch thickness.

Using biscuit cutter, cut biscuits and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake biscuits at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with butter and jam or honey.
