Latest Book Release...Lost Valley and Recipe for Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Not too sweet, not too crispy...
Just right.

• One stick unsalted butter, softened
• One half cup coconut oil
• Two large eggs
• One half teaspoon salt
• One half cup light brown sugar
• One half cup granulated sugar
• Two cups unbleached, all-purpose flour
• One half cup corn starch
• One half tablespoon baking powder
• One teaspoon vanilla extract
• One cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cream butter and coconut oil in mixer with sugars and salt.
3. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend well.
4. Incorporate dry ingredients. (Flour, Corn Starch, Baking Powder)
5. Mix in chocolate chips.
6. Drop by tablespoon onto parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until desired doneness is reached.
